Cookie Dough Delivery Date Change and Concert Info

Cookie Dough Delivery:

After speaking with our fundraising company earlier today I received word that there was a delay in the production. Our cookie dough will be delivered on Monday November 11th instead of tomorrow. I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause. Please spread the word and inform your customers.

Fall Concert Tuesday, November 5th at 7 PM

Our first concert of the year is this Tuesday at the Mabry Arts Center! Student report time is 6:30 and their uniform includes their black band polo, black dress shoes, and black dress pants. If you ordered a new polo they will be handed out tomorrow. This is a formal event and is a grade for all students. Their grade will be earned for arriving on time, performing in uniform for the concert, and staying for the duration of the concert (estimated to end around 7:45 PM). This will be a fantastic opening to our year and I cannot wait!

Jacket Order:

Tonight is the last night to order your band jacket! Please do so as soon as possible so that Ozier Apparel can begin working on them.

Congratulations to our eight participants in the Reinhardt University Middle School Honor Band! Students had a little under eight hours to learn an entire concert with musicians that they have never worked with and sounded fantastic Saturday afternoon. We are so proud of you and your hard work! Participants were Emma Cook, Madelynn Cook, Connor Haley, Nate Langlo, Eden Long, Julian Redwine, Hagan Russell, and Sarah Scholl. Thank you for going above and beyond!

Veterans Concert:

The CJHS 8th grade band has been asked to participate all day during the school system’s Veteran’s Day assembly. A schedule will be released mid week with the details. Initially, the date of this even was this upcoming Friday but it has instead been moved to Monday, November 11th. Students will be excused from school that day and will be provided Subway for lunch. More info to come!


Have you (chaperone) and your student paid their Carowinds Trip Deposit? Remember that the non-refundable downpayment of $50 is due November 22nd.

Chaperone price: $150 (Add $85 if you want a single room)
