Students are given a shirt and will be fed during half time at both games. The Google Form below and the fee must be completed/turned in by September 2nd in order for the t shirts to come in on time.

If selected, students will participate with the best middle school band students at our District Honor Band in Ringgold, Georgia. Students will prepare a concert with a guest conductor and will get to meet friends from around our area that are just like them!

Information regarding to DHB audition materials will be posted in google classroom on Monday. Students who are looking for a challenge and who wish to push themself are highly encouraged to audition. I am hopeful that some of our students will proudly represent us in this prestigious ensemble!

WGW

We are honored to have our campus host the second season of the West Georgia Winds ensemble! This is an audition based ensemble for any 6th-8th grader in the state that rehearses once a week at the CHS band room and performs concerts at the Mabry Arts Center. Students will play challenging and fun music with band members from across our area and will get to play under the baton of Dr. Josh Byrd, director of bands at the University of West Georgia! This is a tremendous opportunity for our band students and I encourage those that are interested to apply at http://www.westgawinds.com
