Fall Concert Tomorrow Night 10/17
Our first concert of the year is tomorrow Monday, October 17th at 7 PM. Report time for all students is 6:15. This concert will occur at the Mabry Arts Center on the CHS campus.
Dress is all black: Dress pants, long skirt, long dress, black socks, black shoes (no tennis shoes, crocks, converse, etc.) and a black nice shirt, sweater, button up shirt or black polo. From far away, we will look extremely professional as all students will be in all black.
*SPECIAL NOTE: Wind Ensemble members will wear all black pants, socks, shoes, etc. but will receive their performance polo for our Reinhardt performance on Monday to wear that night. Those polos have already been purchased and sized for our students. No payments are requried.*
Itinerary:
6:15 pm all students report
7:00 Concert band performance
7:20 Symphonic Band Performance
7:45 Wind ensemble Performance
All students must stay for the duration of the concert.
Reinhardt Concert 10/21
Our Wind Ensemble has been honored as the Guest Honor Band at the Reinhardt University Middle School Honor Band on Friday, October 21st. If you would like to chaperone please email me.
Our itinerary is posted below:
1:30 pm Students called down to band room
2:00 pm Depart for Reinhardt University
4:00 pm Arrive and unload
5:00 pm Dress rehearsal on stage
5:45 pm Subway dinner provided in parking lot
6:15 pm Change into formal attire
6:30 pm on stage
7:00 pm Performance
7:30 pm Conclude performance and load bus and trailer
9:30 pm or earlier, arrive back at CJHS

All chaperones and students need to be signed up and have their down payment applied for the candy bar discount to be applied. Once the first payment goes through, I will begin applying the discount for each box sold. We will finish counting the candy bar money this upcoming week.
Chocolate Bar Fundraiser:
If your student has not turned in their chocolate candy bar fundraiser money they will need to turn that in tomorrow. We will count and collect the money this week and will hopefully announce our drawing winners very soon! Thank you SO much for working hard to support our band program! This has been our most successful fundraiser so far!
