Good evening,

8th-grade night was a huge success! Thank you to Mr. Carr, Mr. Nelson, and the entire high school marching band for welcoming us with open arms. I hope that the students had a blast and I look forward to having many of them in our band next year at CHS!

Fall Concert

Concert Tomorrow, October 26th:

The students have been working so hard to prepare this concert for you all! We will have our first concert of the year next Tuesday at the Mabry Arts Center at 7 PM. All students are required to wear concert black. This concert is free and will conclude in less than an hour. All students are required to remain for the duration of the concert. The report time is 6:30 PM.

This includes the following:

• Black slacks
• Black closed-toed shoes
• Black socks
• Black long-sleeved shirt
• Dresses and skirts may be worn but must be below the knee when seated. Black non-see through tights must be worn

Trojan Pep Band Game on Saturday

I was just informed today that we have been invited to play at the game on Saturday for our 8th football team! Our 8th-grade football team has made the playoffs and we would like to support them. I will post the itinerary once the game time has been set. All 7th and 8th grade students are welcome to participate on Saturday in our pep band even if they have not participated yet this year. I will post a schedule as well as ask for volunteers later in the week. We are excited for another opportunity to support our CJHS Trojans!
