Fall Concert
Wow! What a tremendous opening concert for the school year! Our 7th and 8th graders performed a beautiful concert on Tuesday at the Mabry Arts Center. Thank you to all of those in attendance and I cannot wait for our Winter concert on December 14th!

12:00 Game concludes/pick up time at CHS Band room bus loop
We are in need of donations of water bottles and desserts for Saturday if anyone is willing. Parents who are willing to volunteer to serve food or move equipment may contact me ahead of time.
Cookie Dough Fundraiser
Our cookie dough fundraiser concludes on the 3rd. Let’s finish this strong and continue selling throughout this weekend.

Things to remember:
- Student earns a free candy bar of their choice for selling their first 5 boxes!
- For every 15 boxes/tubs that they sell they get one free tub of chunky chocolate chip
- 8th graders will earn $3 off of their Carowinds trip for every box sold
- Due date: November 3rd.
- Delivery: Online orders are delivered in a week while brochure orders will be delivered after Thanksgiving.

UWG Trip Meeting
I am looking to plan a special night on December 12th for our students. Students have been informed of the University of West Georgia Wind Ensemble concert that evening and we have decided to plan a field trip to go and watch them! I am looking to meet with some parent volunteers on Monday the 1st, at 4:00 PM in the CJHS band room to plan this field trip. If there are any parent volunteers that would like to meet and help me plan the trip I would appreciate that! Please let me know ahead of time if you are availible.
