All State:

On Saturday we had seven students audition for a spot in the All State Band. Although we did not have a student earn a spot we did have a student who is first alternate. Congratulations to Makenssy Reyes!

I can never emphasize enough about how the process leading to things like this is extremely important. It is about setting a goal, pushing yourself, and sacrificing parts of your life to potentially achieve something great. I am so proud of all students who have worked since August towards District Honor Band and All State. Our band is better because you went through the process. Thank you!

1/16 Chair test for all students during class

1/31 Next installment of $50 for Carowinds due

2/3 7th Grade after school rehearsal until 5:00 PM

2/4 8th Grade after school rehearsal until 5:00 PM

2/8 Symphonic Camp * required for all students. 9AM -Noon*

2/10 7th Grade after school rehearsal until 5:00 PM

2/11 8th Grade after school rehearsal until 5:00 PM

2/13-2/15 District Honor Band *$70 due for each participant to pay for hotel* Very detailed outline to come out soon!
